Painting kitchen cabinets and freestanding furniture trade work
We currently operate a single large & fully enclosed furniture painting booth in our workshop near Haywards Heath that allows us to undertake trade work that is delivered and collected with a quick turn around.
Painting kitchen cabinets for trade services
We spray through Wagner air-assisted pumps, which produce a finer atomisation and thus smoother finish than the more commonly used HVLP/airless systems. Using this system, we apply Renner 2k PU as standard for our opaque timber\board finishes and catalysed acrylics for clear and metallic work. We also use shellac and polyester primers when required.
Using these high quality paints, we can offer a full range of colours, including those from popular paint brands such as Farrow & Ball, Little Greene and Neptune and sheen levels from matt right through to gloss.

For trade commissions, we offer two different services:
Drop & Collect:
All items are delivered to and picked up from our Haywards Heath workshop by yourselves.
Once delivered to us and we have made sure everything is marked up for spraying as appropriate, we prepare and hang items ready for spraying. Once primed, flat all pieces to 400G to provide a smooth surface, and then top coat.
We typically apply 3 coats of each. Once sprayed we ensure all pieces are allowed to cure for at least 24 hours post spraying prior to collection.
Where necessary we can also offer an after care visit to site following installation to attend to any final items and sign off the finish.
Remove & Return:
We attend site after installation of the piece/pieces and takeaway removable elements for workshop spraying and then spray permanently fixed elements in situ.
Our normal schedule for this type of instruction would be to remove items for offsite spraying on the first day of the project. We will then return to site to undertake the onsite spraying before finally returning and refitting the items sprayed in our booth (usually doors/trims etc).
We then would attend for any snags as necessary and sign off the finish.

How much does trade kitchen and furniture painting cost?
Due to the current volatility in cost of paints, materials and overheads (fuel/electric etc) our trade prices change monthly.
We have a price list that can be provided upon request.
